Patriarchy and Abuse.

Its 2024, and patriarchy is still having its roots deep into our society and lives. It's a common notion for most of us that patriarchy hurts women, when in reality IT HURTS ALL. Here`s how it really works, it actively oppresses women and children while passively abusing men. Lets delve deeper into this issue.

In the light of current situations worldwide, where toxic masculinity and femininity are roaring high, all at the cost of feminism getting the wrong reputation. Violence against men, women, children and transgender people are at an all time peak. To understand things better , we first need to know what feminism actually means. It is basically an age old revolution raised by women to fight against oppression and mistreatment subjected to them. However, slowly over the course of time, frustration of women towards the disrespectful attitude of some population of men folks, lead to a section of feminists turning to be male haters.Which is presently being exploited by the toxic masculine and feminine influencers.

When we speak of patriarchy , these toxic gender ideologies are its base pillars. With the rise of internet usage and information being at disposal , patriarchy is quaking at its core, which is why it's baring its claws and teeth to scare masses back into its clutches. Coming back to the point where men are being abused by patriarchy. Over the last five years , with the significant rise in influencers with questionable mindset and ideologies , spewing hatred online, young and young adult boys and men are the victims. They are being led to believe , that only if they act, behave ,and think in a certain way , which is often dictated by these influencers , can they be passed as ´ men ´ . Which really rings a bell , a few decades ago women were being coerced in the exact same way to fit into a box to be passed as a ´woman´.

These questionable entities online have named horrendous attitude and criminal mindset to be masculine. My question to my male readers , do you really think that the peak of your being is centered and governed by violence? There are incidents that are being shoved under the rug by such a mindset. Coming off strong is the rise in male suicide rates, some of the survivors have stated facing lack of support and safety from peers. Which is really not a surprise, given the fact that these toxic masculinity promoters endorse against men opening up. What they really do is to prey on the insecurity and emotional void in the minds of men in general. All the while invalidating their emotions altogether. Second in line is the rise in sexual harassment towards men. We presently live in a world that does not validate male rape as much as the female ones. When in reality both undergo, trauma beyond humane description. Lastly cyber-bullying , where do I even start! The amount of men hating their own kinds is astonishing ! Hence giving fuel to the carnage .

In the shocking turn of events , presently toxic femininity is also on the rise. But that is a topic for some other day. However, dear reader, who do you think is benefiting from this entire chaos? Is it men? women? who? It's none but the capitalists ! The more insecure people are, the more profit they make. Its high time that male population unites for the betterment of their people as a whole , regardless of their gender and or sexual identity. Lastly, feminism never was, is not, and will never be a revolution of hatred, we voice for equality and rights of all. May human rights win!
